Greatest NYC transit app on the market

Finally, omg finally! Its been 3 years! 3 long freakin years waiting for an update. Im overwhelmed with joy, I actually cried when I seen the update. It gave me peace of mind, knowing that your loyal users havent been abandoned. Oh happy day :). P.S - New features please ❤

Still useful

Been using this app for years and it still does the trick. Not happy, on principal, that Manhattan is incomplete on the bus and bike maps. Im sure people in the outer boroughs are likewise disappointed with their lack of representation. Full bus maps would go along way, as would route plotter that determined transfers, schedules, travel times, etc. (with no network connectivity) That said this is the app I use when I need to check where a subway line does/doesnt go. And thats usually when Im on the train.

Must have for mass transit users

Great app. Thanks for the update. Still the best nyc mass transit map. Lets you see which stations are on each line. Fastest map for natives who want to quickly decide which line and station best suits their journey.

Great App

The recent update to this app is great. The iPhone 5 support plus the updated MTA map is great.

updated version. rocks

love the recent update with the revised vignelli map, plus fits iPhone 5 screen now and goes giant in the new iPad !

Map still not completely updated...

While I was thrilled to see this app updated, its crazy that after all this time the map is still not current. Bleecker St stop on the 6 and no Barclays Center are two glaring inaccuracies. Still, I love this app and will continue to use it. Please continue to update!

Love this app

Love it love it love it... Its one of my most useful apps especially when someone is lost and they ask me for help.. Needs a couple fixes but nothing to crazy

Old school app

Totally forgot about this app . I remember this app on my iPod touch 2g now a iPhone 5 .ty for optimized it

STILL GREAT

this is the first app i purchased when the iphone was introduced and has remained on my home page since then. They have tweaked it over the years and added some stuff. But the basic app has remained the same. I am a bit Manhattan centric because thats where I live. Some people have complained that it was missing a new train stop or doesnt show bike lanes these are minor things. I have seen applications or websites that purported to tell you when the next bus or train will arrive. That is nonsense. All they are doing is interpreting fixed schedules which have no relationship to reality. That might be useful in another city if you wanted to know generally what is the interval between stops. My only complaint with this application is that in order to update a service advisory you have to tap on a button at the top. And if youre not careful to check, that could be a problem when you arrive to find some train or bus not operating. i would encourage the developer ( I would have done this if they gave contact information on their website ) to either have the application automatically update when it is opened or use the Apple rubber band pull down to refresh service information.

MTA map is still 2 years old

The map needs updating -- it still doesnt include the B/D/F/M connection to the uptown 6, for example. And shows R service through the east river tunnel, etc. Still works well, though, as my next favorite NYC subway app after ExitStrategy.

Great app, no complaints

Totally user-friendly, Ive never had problems. Does exactly what is expected without glitches.

Disappointed.

No bus map outside of manhattan. Bike map doesnt include my neighborhood or south of prospect park. How is this worth 3 dollars? Will look into getting refunded.

Good simple app

I use it anytime I take a subway line I am not familiar with

Orphaned app?

The map is years out of date (doesnt show the downtown 6 connection at Bleecker St.) and there appears to be no way to contact the developers. The support link here on the App Store is broken and I cant find a support link on their web site. Seems like this app is orphaned. Too bad since its otherwise quite good!

Trip Planner and Need to work on Subway station Map

This app used to be great few years ago. The developer stopped improving it for past few years. Disappointed and time to move on to other apps.

Update

I use to use this app all the time and love it, but they havent updated in a while. Stay away till they do. Was going to Lga and they dont have the Q70 that you can get on in Jackson heights.

Key tool in the tool belt of any NewYorker

I cant tell you how many times a year I refer to this app. Its especially useful for the service advisories that it downloads. I dont like that the Station Locator always drops you in midtown Manhattan (rather than centering the map on your current location) and Fort Hamilton Parkway is mislabeled on the N Line chart. I would have emailed these feedback points privately but the developer website doesnt offer a feedback link and the developers App Support link in the App Store is broken. So its s great app as long as you dont ask for more than they give you. Such as support.

A VERY good tool, but...

A great help for newbies or longtime New Yorkers. This is one of the first and most important apps Ive ever had. Would love if they could include the MTAs official late night subway service app, and make it clearer on the location service which subways are close by. Sometimes they can be hard to find among all the bus listings.

Out of Date

This map is out of date as of September 13th, 2015. (Doesn’t include 7 train stop at Hudson Yards.) Don’t download until this app is updated.

Map is Not Updated

With the new service to the 7 line The Map and info about the 7 line are now incorrect and does not reflect Current Service.
